Society for Neuro-Oncology Scientific Meeting and Education Day

This conference is held in conjunction with the Section of Tumors of the AANS/CNS. The members of the Brain Research Group @ Dartmouth will participate in this conference. Specifically, Dr. David W. Roberts, Principal Investigator of our Fluorescence Guided Resection project, will be co-presenting a talk on Saturday, November 19 at 07:00 a.m. titled Intraoperative Surgical Adjuncts for Visualizing Tumors. In addition, Dr. Pablo A. Valdes will be giving a talk in the session, "Plenary Session, Top Abstract 1", titled Combined fluorescence and reflectance spectroscopy for in vivo quantification of cancer biomarkers in low and high-grade glioma surgery.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together cancer researchers to discuss new imaging tools, molecular targeting approaches, contrast agents, and therapeutic delivery methods. Roberts, Principal Investigator of our Fluorescence Guided Resection project, will be presenting a talk on Tuesday, July 12 at 11:10 a.m. titled Fluorescence-guidance in Intracranial Tumor Resection.
